Iimplement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , which involves applying gentle stressors to very young animals for short periods of time. It is thought to improve their stress responses later in life.
Puppies will be personality tested with the Volhard puppy aptitude test and are raised with modified puppy culture. There is no absolute way of predicting a puppy’s personality this young because they go through fear periods and development at different rates.
The umbilical is a straight line to the bloodstream in neonate puppies. I prioritize the mother’s teeth and before the pups are born I scale and clean her entire mouth. I sanitize my hands before handling and weighing newborns. I use vet wrap while handling puppies for the first several days.
